First Aid at Work Requalification

It is a requirement of Health and Safety law that employers provide a safe and healthy environment to work in.

 

If your assessment of First Aid needs highlights the need to maintain the qualification of your First Aiders, then this course will provide you with that.

Description       

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This comprehensive two day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. In addition to this, should there have been any change to protocols since their initial qualification, this will be updated.

 

This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (1981).

Duration

 

 

A minimum of 12 hours, this course can be completed as 100% class room based or Blended where day 1 is completed through online training and day 2 in the class room. The Blended version of this course still meets the requirements set out by the HSE and is designed to cut down on the time that employees need to spend away from the work setting.

Certification

 

 

 

There is no formal assessment, all learners will be assessed throughout the course by the instructor. The HSE recommend that employees undertake an annual refresher to maintain skills in between re training.
